Did you ever make a change to the configuration of your PC and wish you didn't have to reboot the machine to make that change effective? Windows 98 has a way that you can quickly unload the Windows 98 operating system and have it restart automatically. Here's how you do it.
1 - Click on the Start button
2 - Select "Shut Down"
3 - Choose the "Restart" option
4 - Hold the "Shift" key down while clicking the OK button
Windows will now restart without executing a complete warm boot.
