Windows is an easier operating system that will enable you to run more software on the OS. I wont go as far as saying its a better OS but very easy,take you time with both. Look at installing Windows 98 if at all possible. You can choose to install Linux by partitioning the hard drive. Make a partition of at least 500MB and 2Gb recommended.. We will have a Linux Tutorial up soon getting into detail on this subject. It is not a good idea to run Linux by itself and it will be a learning experience, have windows as a backup!

Dear sir, I have two problelms 1)installing scanner and 2)Bad sector in Harddisks when I installed the scsi MODI scanner to the same printer port ,when I tested , it is giving the message "error code 2" . How do I rectify it? Secondly, How to remove the bad sectors from hard disks, Why they formed ? Please provide the answers for it Thank you.!
