Dear Friend: I have a compaq a1000 and a compaq presario computer, I am using windows98, I have downloaded all compaq updates since Jan. and was told to download a USB upgrade off the internet, but the scanner still won't scan anything larger than 3x5 inch card. I need help. What do I do now? The a1000s other funtions work fine fax,copy,and printer but whenever I scan a document I always end up with a error message USB PORT NOT CONNECTED and the USB PORT is connected. If you know what might be wong please give me some information As before I am using a Compaq Presario, Compaq A1000, and MY Scan in PhotoSuite8.06
