ok, so i bought this new game.. i was all excited, but it woudnt load, said that my cd rom had to be able to play audio cd's which it doesnt.
i have a cable going from my cd rom to the sound card, it used to go to the mainboard it was an onboard soundpro card *sucks*. i dont know if im missing something in bios or if its a driver, or jumper or what the hell.. can somebody please help me, i really really wanna play this game!! hehe
btw, i disabled the onboard sound card in the bios,.. cd rom reads data fine, and plays audio cds if i use the headset on the front of the cdrom.
in win98s exploer, it says i have an audio cd in i.e. Track08.cda, but when i double click it, it says, please insert an audio or data cd.
please help adam
