Rename Files In Windows 95

Two Ways To Rename Files In Windows 95

You can rename a file or a folder in Windows 95 easily. Here's how.

1 - Selecting the file by right clicking the mouse on the file or folder.

2 - Select "rename" from that drop down menu.

3 - The cursor will jump to the name under the icon of the file or folder.

4 - Type the name you want to give the file.

5 - Hit Enter

Another trick to renaming a file is to left click once on the file label under the icon, and then left click on it again...not as fast as a normal double click....but with practice, you'll be perfect. This highlights the file's name, and allows you to rename it.
